PAC House Halloween Party

This weekend we had our second annual Halloween party at the PAC house. The first year we probably had about 8-10 kids, but now after this year having met so many other children in our neighborhood we had around 17! We had a relay race where the kids had to put on huge clothes, a pink monster pinata, cookie decorating, pumpkin painting, a bucket toss game, and food. Here's us getting ready for the party. The kids were so excited one rang our door bell on Thursday wanting to know what time the party was that day...we had to explain that Saturday was still 2 days away. The day of the party the kids were running around our house in circles for a least an hour prior to the party time. When we came out they all screamed at the top of their lungs.

Alyas didn't wear his turtle costume and I didn't plan on him really being involved because the party time was the same time as nap time; however, we did give him first dibs on a prize. This is what he picked out.

This was part of our relay race...wrapping up in toilet paper to make a mummy. A fun idea but it was the end of the race anti-climactic. We told the kids that the first one to use the whole roll of paper would win. Well...that took a long time so we ended up doing it for them. Next year we'll have to come up with a better idea. It was pretty fun though!

A group picture on our front steps...an area well known to all of these youngsters. They are always messing around up there and ringing our door bell multiple times a day. It was nice to have a fun activity and bring them all together. Please pray for these little ones as we continue to reach out to them on a daily basis!
