So here's a list of some new things my little man is doing:
1. Figuring out the function of things...see the video below for a great example. We've been working on this toy ever since he could sit!
2. New favorite thing: the wind. He gets a huge grin and squints his eyes when the wind hits his face outside. He'll also do it if you blow in his face.
3. Learning that twice a day we brush his teeth. He laughs when he watches Brandon or I brush ours, so it's a pretty cool thing in his book.
4. Practically running behind toys he can push...but not walking yet on his own.
5. Screaming....but thankfully only with delight. When he gets excited his whole body tenses up, he holds his arms straight out and clenches his fists, and shrieks.
6. Giving hugs...so wonderful!
7. Signing "all done" and waving "bye bye"....well only at selected times. The funny thing is he waves with both hands so "all done" and "bye bye" look pretty much the same.
8. Imitating sounds with voice inflections such as "thank you"....comes out "ahhh oooo"
9. Arching his back and learning how to throw a fit....not one of our favorite things he has discovered. We are working on halting that process in its tracks!
10. Has discovered he likes Diet Coke just as much as Mom and Dad....no it was totally some one else who let him try it :^)
11. Grooving to music and bopping around when he likes a tune.
12. Has transitioned into taking baths in the tub and no longer using the infant tub inside the bigger tub. He can now move around a little, but how do I keep him from sticking his face in the water???
13. Growing hair....just from the middle of the top of his head back...the front still looks bald, just like Dad.
14. Taking only one nap a day most days.
15. Helping me take off his clothes at bath time and pushing his arms through holes when we are putting on clothes.
16. Getting super excited to see me when I come home from work!
I'm sure there is more but that's all I can think of now...

these are all great and fun things! except the fit-throwing, i suppose. but i imagine that even that has its entertaining elements at times. :)
